Deacon Marvel is an architect, a Harvard GSD graduate, principal of Deacon Marvel Architect based in Boston, and affiliated with the American Institute of Architects. He participated in the renovation plans for original Buckminster Fuller Dome, originally constructed in Woods Hole in 1953. His works include the Geodesic Dome design and constuction in Bear Island (2002), Lyon Biennale (2012), Lyon Contemporary Art (2013), Staten Island (2019), San Juan (2020).
