SHAME CULTURE

poster shame culture: three people using smartphones
When

A student decides to lie to his family and friends about his university career, sets the date for his fake graduation, and on that day chooses to take his own life. There is a growing phenomenon among young people: suicide due to academic pressure. This is a reflection on the role of virtual reality, the strong sense of inadequacy, and the fear of failure that self-presentation on social media generates in young people.

The theatrical performance is part of a rich program of events, training initiatives, and webinars dedicated to the Politecnico community for October 10 – World Mental Health Day.

The event will be in Italian.
