MODÆ. Talk – Marina Spadafora
During the exhibition MODÆ architecture, photography, graphics, design, sustainability, the Historical Archives of the Politecnico di Milano are hosting a series of dialogues that, starting from the stories of the protagonists presented in the exhibition, invite comparisons on forms and cultures of fashion. Crossing different eras, these conversations can offer still new interpretations for those who live fashion and those who design it.
The first meeting will host Marina Spadafora, fashion designer, spokesperson for ethical fashion at an international level and lecturer, who was awarded the Women Together Award (2015) for her constant commitment to uniting fashion, sustainability and ethical responsibility. Giovanni Maria Conti, Coordinator of the Course of Studies in Fashion Design at Politecnico di Milano, and curator of the exhibition, will dialogue with her.
After the event, it will be possible to visit the exhibition, which also hosts original materials part of Marina Spadafora’s Archive, held at the Bovisa Candiani Library.
The event will take place on May 13, at 5.30 pm.
