Description
The master is divided into lectures that alternate with design activities and the
discussion of case studies. At the end of this part, a professionalizing project is planned: it
is an activity relating to a single complex intervention to which it is added
a simplified intervention to be defined with the commission of the master course.
Educational project
The Master takes place in China and aims to acquire skills related to project
methodology aimed at the Custom/Contract sector in an international context.
The introductory part of the course gives great importance to the themes of Strategic
Design and of Design Innovation, to frame the systemic and methodological aspects of
project with reference to the environments. The Custom/Contract sector is in fact
constantly evolving, and knowledge thorough puts the participants in the condition to
implement or even create from scratch this type of activity related to the profession or
entrepreneurial activity.
Furthermore, the different facets of the Custom/Contract sector are explored both in
general terms (dealing with the historical, innovative and managerial aspects) and
for specific sectors aimed at Hospitality, Residential, Retail, Office.
For each category the participant will be able to tackle targeted projects
to the sector, of different complexities, in order to be able to cope with an ever growing
market more demanding, in which the quality and ability to respond immediately and
consciously become fundamental levers to compete with international level
competition.
The synergy between teachers, designers, consultants and companies will be very
important specialized in these sectors.
Requirements
The Specializing Master is reserved for candidates selected by SHANGHAI CHANG XI
EDUCATION INVESTMENT CO., LTD, holding a Bachelor's or Master's degree in
Industrial
Design, Architecture, Engineering and candidates in possession of qualifications
considered equivalent. The Commission reserves the right to admit candidates in
possession of the aforementioned qualifications in disciplines other than those above
listed, if the Master is considered a valid completion of the training of the candidate or
the skills and professional experience demonstrated by them. For the candidates with
qualifications not obtained in Italy, equivalent qualifications will be considered in the
respective education systems.
