Objectives

Support to the University

Support University management choices concerning training for technical and administrative staff, and the development of innovation and experimentation initiatives pursuing environmental, social and economic sustainability.

Research

Provide interdisciplinary support to companies and public bodies with research and consulting activities on sustainability issues (environmental, social and economic), and circular economy; participate in European projects.

University teaching  

Strengthen the presence of the LCA methodology in Polimi teaching; organise thematic seminars in master’s degree courses offered by the University.

Corporate responsibility

Communicate the University's LCA skills externally by organising events; carry out teaching activities in schools of all levels, for professional bodies, etc.; support decision-making processes at various levels; create a network between research fellows and PhD candidates to share professional and non-professional activities.

Internal networking

Provide mutual support/feedback on research activities carried out by the network groups; transfer expertise and collaborate in research/consulting activities with colleagues in the network.
