Objectives

Provide support to the University in strategic management decisions; organize dedicated LCA training sessions for technical and administrative staff; define innovative initiatives aimed at environmental, social, and economic sustainability.

Provide interdisciplinary support to companies and public bodies with research and consulting activities on sustainability issues (environmental, social and economic), and circular economy; participate in European projects.

Strengthen the presence of the LCA methodology in Polimi teaching; organise thematic seminars in master’s degree courses offered by the University.

Communicate the University's LCA skills externally by organising events; carry out teaching activities in schools of all levels, for professional bodies, etc.; support decision-making processes at various levels; create a network between research fellows and PhD candidates to share professional and non-professional activities.

Provide mutual support/feedback on research activities carried out by the network groups; transfer expertise and collaborate in research/consulting activities with colleagues in the network.
