The PIE Program, which will be launched in September 2027, is an official interdisciplinary programme at Politecnico di Milano. It provides structured access to PIE activities for students who wish to pursue a more guided, interdisciplinary learning pathway that is recognised on their academic transcript.

The PIE Program combines curricular activities, Passion in Action courses, co-curricular experiences, projects, laboratories and, where possible, interdisciplinary theses. It is open to the entire Politecnico student community, involving all four Schools of Politecnico di Milano, with the ambition of offering growth opportunities to every student—not only to those already interested in entrepreneurship. To achieve this, it creates an open, inclusive and interdisciplinary ecosystem that brings together students, researchers, businesses and alumni, breaking down barriers between disciplines, skills and pathways, so that innovation becomes an integral part of Politecnico di Milano’s identity, rather than an activity reserved for a select few.
