Description
The specialization in Strategic Purchasing Management provides the theoretical foundations and tools to be able to design and manage a modern purchasing function in order to maximize the creation of value for the company, be it a medium-sized enterprise or a multinational, operating in the industry or services. The strategic value of the management of supply markets and internal purchasing processes (Strategic Purchasing, Sourcing and Supply) will be clarified. The initiatives to better support the evolution of Purchasing will be discussed in a framework of growth of the organization as a whole. The teaching is designed and implemented in collaboration with ADACI, the Italian Purchasing and Supply Management Association.Educational project
The course aims to: - provide a broader and more strategic vision of the role of the Purchasing, Supply Chain and Logistics functions in the company and therefore of the links they have with the company strategy and with the other parts of the organisation; - complete and deepen the specific skills concerning particularly relevant and frontier issues on the management of Purchasing and Supply Chain; - develop specific skills on the new information and communication technologies (ICT) currently available to support the management of Purchasing and the Supply Chain.Requirements
