Description

The Data Science & Business Analytics track is designed to up-skill and re-skill professionals who are able to use modern data analytics to solve complex business problems in a variety of application contexts. The track is designed to enhance managerial talent transforming data into knowledge and business value.It is a high- profile program based on a holistic educational experience, where theory and practice are strongly intertwined thanks to the strong competence of the teachers, who alongside the research activity have dealt with real experiences through the support provided to companies and international partners. The learning objectives are therefore pursued through an experiential approach that integrates theoretical contents and practical applications with workshops, company cases, contributions from company witnesses. Furthermore, being in constant relationship with the Big Data & Business Analytics Observatory of the Politecnico of Milan, the course is at the forefront of ICT research for the analysis and management of modern analytics.

Educational project

The ability to use advanced analytical tools in different business processes to improve decision making and explore new opportunities; The methodological and technical background needed to select, apply and design effective predictive methods for the application domain; The ability to derive valuable insights from data extraction, processing and interpretation; The necessary interdisciplinary knowledge that improves communication and integration with different stakeholders within the organization.

Requirements

Bachelor of Science. For applicants holding a forei degree, the equivalent qualifications of the respective university systems will be considered
