Description

The Postgraduate Course will be held by professors of the Polytechnic, external professionals and experts in the sector. All students will have a personal account that will allow access to the online platform. The lessons, in ASYNCHRONOUS mode, are videotaped and will remain available to the student until the end of the course. Several lessons and their material could be in English. A final exam is scheduled.

Educational project

The purpose of the course is to provide designers with knowledge on the seismic response of construction structures and infrastructures making use of national and foreign regulations. Particular emphasis will be given to existing structures with analysis of the historical and monumental buildings evaluating adaptation or improvement actions and reviewing innovative techniques and materials.

Requirements

The course is open to candidates who have already joined or intend to join technical offices of public bodies, companies that operate on behalf of public entities or companies that manage building works and infrastructure projects and candidates who are interested in specialization. The course is reserved for candidates with a Bachelor degree. Foreign candidates qualification equivalents will be considered in their respective university systems.
