Second-level university Master’s program designed to meet the specific needs of Eni. The program has a duration of 12 months.
Educational project
The Master's programme is designed to prepare recent graduates in STEM disciplines by developing advanced competencies in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science. It provides a multidisciplinary education that combines strong theoretical foundations, advanced methodologies, and hands-on project activities, enabling participants to gain a comprehensive understanding of the entire lifecycle of AI solutions. Through an approach that integrates academic instruction, laboratory sessions, and project work, the programme equips participants with the knowledge and skills required to analyse complex problems, model them using Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning techniques, design and develop data-driven solutions, select the most appropriate algorithms, evaluate their performance and reliability, and manage their continuous evolution over time. Particular emphasis is placed on the integration of traditional Machine Learning methodologies, Generative AI, Scientific Machine Learning, and High-Performance Computing, preparing participants to address the technological challenges of the most advanced industrial environments. The programme also fosters the ability to understand business needs, translate them into technical and functional requirements, and effectively communicate the results, impact, and value of AI-driven solutions to a wide range of business stakeholders.
Requirements
The Master's programme is intended for Italian and international graduates holding a Master's Degree (Laurea Magistrale) or an equivalent qualification (Master of Science), awarded with a final grade of 100/110 cum laude or higher. Eligible candidates must hold a Master's Degree in one of the following fields: Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, and Data Science (LM-18 / LM-91) Mathematics, Physics, and Statistics (LM-17 / LM-40 / LM-44) Chemical Engineering (LM-22) Automation Engineering (LM-25) Electronic Engineering (LM-29) Energy and Nuclear Engineering (LM-30) Management Engineering (LM-31) Computer Engineering (LM-32) Mechanical Engineering (LM-33) Environmental and Land Engineering (LM-35) Materials Engineering (LM-53) In addition, candidates must meet the following requirements: Be under 29 years of age. Demonstrate an excellent command of the English language, which will be assessed during Eni's selection process. For international graduates, proficiency in written and spoken Italian will be considered a preferred qualification and will also be assessed during the selection process.
