Description
The Master Course in Interior Design is an advanced training course focused on the entire design process, meant as a structured system of analysis, interpretationand development of interior design projects. The program, which includes a first part remotely delivered and a second one delivered -in person in Milan, accompanies participants from the phase of reading the context and defining the briefto concept’s construction up to the technical development and the project’s structuring in all its functional, formal, material, and plant engineering components. Particular attention is paid to design methodology, consistency between identity and space, the quality of the user experience, and the integration of aesthetic, technological, and economic aspects. Through theoretical lessons, project work, and engaging with professionals, the Master's program consolidates skills in managing the various phases of a project: needs analysis, scenario development, layout definition, informed selection of materials and technological solutions, time and cost evaluation, and coordination with interlocutors and stakeholders. The course trains professionals capable of tackling the complexity of interior design projects with methodological rigor, strategic vision, and operational autonomy, mastering processes, toolsand languages in a structured and informed manner. The course is divided into theoretical modules and design workshops, followed by an internship or professional project. The first part of classes will take place online whereas the second part will be in person.
Educational project
The Interior Design Master Course is aimed at graduates and young professionals wishing to acquire an advanced specialization in interior design, developing a critical, methodologically structured and professionally oriented profile. The course has the goal to provide cultural, theoretical and technical- operational tools to address the complexity of interior design projects in all their dimensions: functional, formal, technological, economic, and communicative.
Requirements
The Master's course programme is reserved for candidates who hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree, or a first or second level academic diploma. Qualifications obtained abroad that are equivalent in their respective educational systems will be considered valid. Selection will take place in chronological order based on the date of receipt of the application, until all available places are filled.
