Description
The Master’s Program in Research and Innovation Management and Enhancement has been designed to train a new generation of professionals capable of guiding and supporting research and innovation processes with a strategic, multidisciplinary, and impact-oriented vision. The program integrates three Executive Courses – Research Management, Research Valorization and Technology Transfer, and Innovation Management for Major Social and Environmental Challenges – offering a comprehensive perspective on the entire research cycle: from idea generation to funding management, from valorizing results to transforming them into projects with strong economic and social impact. Participants learn how to identify and manage national and international funding opportunities, protect and transfer intellectual property, promote open innovation processes, and foster dialogue among universities, businesses, institutions, and civil society. Lectures, hands-on workshops, professional testimonials, and a final project work make the program highly experiential, equipping participants with tools immediately applicable in their professional environment and strengthening the managerial skills needed to steer the technological and organizational development of their institutions.
Educational project
The Master’s Program in Research and Innovation Management and Enhancement aims to train professionals capable of guiding research and innovation throughout all stages of their life cycle, combining managerial expertise, strategic vision, and operational tools. Participants learn to identify and manage national and international funding opportunities, design competitive proposals, coordinate complex projects, and monitor results with a focus on efficiency and sustainability. The program also develops skills in analyzing, evaluating, and protecting research outcomes, fostering their valorization through technology transfer, licensing, proof of concept, and the creation of entrepreneurial spin-offs. At the same time, it strengthens the understanding of European and national research and innovation policies, providing tools to engage with public and private stakeholders, build collaborative networks, and attract financial resources through fundraising and venture financing. Finally, the program places strong emphasis on transversal skills – collaborative leadership, problem solving, and conflict management – which are essential to operate in multidisciplinary contexts and to generate lasting social, economic, and environmental impact within organizations.
