Description
The Lean approach is the greatest managerial and organizational innovation of the last 100 years and has allowed many companies to improve quality and service while drastically reducing costs, significantly increasing competitiveness. Six Sigma is the managerial approach, born and developed in the United States, for quality and process improvement. The training offer of the POLIMI Graduate School of Management in the Lean Six Sigma field integrates these two approaches with the aim of maximizing the competitiveness of companies. The goal is to provide professionals involved in Production, Logistics, Quality, Purchasing, Planning, Organization, Sales with all the tools to radically enhance their professional skills and become true agents of change and innovation.
Educational project
The course aims to: - Provide greater sensitivity and knowledge of some general management tools that are increasingly relevant in the management of Operations; - Develop specific skills on Lean and Six Sigma methodologies and techniques in Industrial and Service companies; - Provide a broader and strategic vision of the role of Operations and Quality and therefore of the links they have with the business strategy and with other parts of the organization - Provide specific knowledge on the improvement of repetitive processes and development processes of new products
Requirements
Bachelor or Master of Science is required. Foreign qualifications will be considered valid ad far as equivalent in their respective University Systems.
