The TOLC-INGEGNERIA is the online engineering test of the CISIA (Consorzio Interuniversitario Sistemi Integrati per l'Accesso).
With the TOLC-I test, you can only enrol in our Laurea programmes (eq. to Bachelor of Science) in Engineering delivered in Italian onlyif your TOLC-I score is no less than the minimum TOL score required for enrolment.
To convert your TOLC-I score into a TOL score, and therefore see if you can enrol in our Laurea programme (eq. to Bachelor of Science) in Engineering, go to the TOLC-I Score Conversion page If you give less than 24 correct answers in the English section, you will be enrolled and assigned English OFAs (Additional Educational Obligations).
YOU TOOK A TOLC- I 2023 WHEN YOU WERE IN THE PENULTIMATE YEAR
If you took a TOLC-I test in the 2023 calendar year while in the penultimate year of upper secondary school (or during the last year of upper secondary school from September to December 2023) and you leave upper secondary school in 2024 and have achieved a score converted into a TOL score greater than or equal to 60, then you can access the first early enrolment phase, or you can access - if you did not enrol in the early phase - the rankings for the second and third enrolment phases.
In the first early enrolment phase you can enrol in any programme you wish.
To access the enrolment in the next phases, you must follow the rules and deadlines to be included in the ranking list.
Remember that you must register your TOLC-I test certificate in the Online Services by 11:59 (CEST) on 6 May 2024.
If you do not register by the deadline, you will not be able to use your alternative test.

YOU TOOK A TOLC- I 2024 AND YOU ARE IN THE FINAL YEAR OF UPPER SECONDARY SCHOOL OR HAVE ALREADY FINISHED IT
If you sat a TOLC-I test in the 2024 calendar while in the final year of upper secondary school and you will finish upper secondary school in 2024 or you have already finished it, then you can access the rankings of the second, third and fourth enrolment phases with a score converted into TOL score greater than or equal to 30.
Remember that you must pass your TOLC-I by 31 May 2024 and register it in the Online Services by 11:59 (CEST) on 6 June 2024.
If you do not register by the deadline, you will not be able to use your alternative test.

YOU PASSED A TOLC-I 2024 WHILE IN YOUR PENULTIMATE YEAR
If you are enrolled in the penultimate year of upper secondary school in the 2023/2024 school year and sit a TOLC-I 2024 with a score converted into a rounded TOL score greater than or equal to 75/100, you are entitled to enrolment for the 2025/2026 academic year.
The TOLC-I must be taken between 1 January 2024 and 31 July 2024.
Remember that you must register your TOLC-I test certificate in the Online Services by 11:59 (CEST) on 7 August 2024.
If you do not register by the deadline, you will not be able to use your alternative test.

How and when to register the TOLC-I
Remember that you must register your TOLC-I test certificate on Online Services .
If you do not register by the deadline, you will not be able to use your test certificate.
You can do that from the day after you take the TOLC-I and only after the official result is made available on the CISIA website.
-If you sat a TOLC-I 2023 while in the penultimate year of upper secondary school, you must register it by 11:59 (CEST) on 6 May 2024.
-If you sat a TOLC-I 2024 and are enrolled in the last year of upper secondary school or have already finished it, you must register it by 11:59 (CEST) on 6 June 2024. -If you sat a TOLC-I 2024 by 31 July 2024 and are in the penultimate year of upper secondary school (2023/2024 school year), you must register it by 11:59 (CEST) on 7 August 2024.
- If you sat a TOLC-I 2024 by 31 July 2024 and you are enrolled in the penultimate year of upper secondary school (2023/2024 school year), you must register it by 11:59 (CEST) on 7 August 2024.
Go to Online Services, select "3-year Laurea programmes (eq. to BSc) and 5-year single cycle programmes (eq. to Integrated MSc): entrance or remedial tests and enrolment" > Alternative Test Registration".
TOLC-I scores are shown. Selecting one of the tests shows you the TOLC-I score converted to TOL score.
You can select the option "Confirm and Continue". Select your preferred Laurea programme (equivalent to Bachelor of Science) and confirm.
HOW TO REQUEST A PROGRAMME CHANGE
If, during this academic year, you have already enrolled on a study programme at Politecnico, in order to enrol on another programme belonging to a different School for which you are eligible, you must request a programme change, i.e. to transfer your enrolment to the new study programme. Your payment of the first instalment will be considered valid.
To request a programme change:
Go to your Online Services - Test Results and Enrolment and, next to the test date, click on ‘change programme.
Send the Change Programme Request Form to the Registrar's Office of your programme’s Campus within the enrolment deadline
The Change Programme Request Form can be sent via chat or as an email attachment via Desks and offices for students.
