You can use the test:
- in the first early phase from 4 May to 11 June 2026 (without ranking)
- in the second, third, or fourth enrolment phase (with ranking list).
If you choose early enrolment, go to Online Services > Lauree triennali e a ciclo unico (equivalent to Bachelor and Master of Science) programmes: admission or remedial test and enrolment. You can choose one of the courses offered in Italian or the Civil Engineering course in English, and enrol by paying the first instalment.
For new programmes held in English, you will have to register in the next phase rankings.
If you do not enrol during the early phase, you can request to be included in the ranking lists of the following phases by accessing Online Services > Lauree triennali e a ciclo unico (equivalent to Bachelor and Master of Science) programmes: admission or remedial test and enrolment > Ranking list registration.
Registration for the second phase ranking list must be completed by 11:59 am (CET) on 18 June 2026.
You can use the test:
- in the second, third, or fourth enrolment phase (with ranking list).
If you wish, you can improve your score by repeating the TOL or alternative tests.
The highest score will be used for ranking purposes.
You can request to be included in the ranking lists of the following phases by accessing Online Services > Lauree triennali e a ciclo unico (equivalent to Bachelor and Master of Science) programmes: admission or remedial test and enrolment > Ranking list registration.
Registration for the second phase ranking list must be completed by 11:59 am (CET) of 18 June 2026.
If, instead, you take the TOL 2026 or register for an alternative test as a final-year student, the system will ask you to express your preferences, and will automatically register you for the second phase ranking list.

With a score ≥620 in both the Evidence-Based Reading and Writing and Math sections, you can use the test:
- in the first early phase from 4 May to 11 June 2026 (without ranking) You can choose one of the courses held in Italian or the Civil Engineering course held in English, and enrol by paying the first instalment.

You can register from 10:30 am (CEsT) on 4 May until 11:59 pm (CEST) on 11 June 2026.
This phase is also reserved for those who took an early TOL test or an alternative test when they were enrolled in the penultimate year of secondary school in the 2024/2025 school year.
Alternative TOLC-I or ENGLISH TOLC-I tests taken from 1/1/2025 to 18/7/2025 registered in Online Services by 25 July 2025, and SAT tests taken from 1 January 2025 to 5 May 2026 and registered by 11:59 am (CEST) on 4 June 2026 are valid.
Note that in the first phase of early enrolment you can enrol in a different degree course (and in a different location) from the one indicated when you enrolled in TOL. You will find instructions in the enrolment procedure.
You can choose one of the courses taught in Italian or the Civil Engineering programme taught in English.
If you enrol on an Italian language programme and are interested in one of the three new English language programmes, you will need to register in the next phase rankings.
You cannot apply for the three new English language courses if you enrol on the English language Civil Engineering programme.
Second standard enrolment phase
With 4 sliding ranking lists
If you have not enrolled in the early phase or wish to enrol in one of the new programmes taught in English, you must apply for inclusion in the ranking list, on the remaining available places.
Follow the deadlines and modalities indicated below:
- Publication of vacancies: from 10.30 am (CEST) on 15 June 2026.
- Request for insertion/change of preferences for the second-phase rankings: no later than 11:59 am (CEST) on 18 June 2026.
You can enter up to five preferences after seeing the places still available.
The preferences entered and the order will be considered for all five rankings and cannot be changed.
Go to Online Services > Lauree triennali e a ciclo unico (equivalent to Bachelor and Master of Science) programmes: admission or remedial test and enrolment, then click on Ranking List Registration.
In the first ranking list published at 10:30 am (CET) of 22 June 2026, candidates may be:
ASSIGNED - candidates must enrol by 11:59 pm (CET) on 24 June 2026 in the relevant programme.
You must enrol or it will be deemed that you have withdrawn for the academic year 2026/2027. You will not be able to apply for inclusion in subsequent rankings and stages.
BOOKED - you can:
- proceed with enrolment for the course for which you are booked by 11:59 pm (CET) on 24 June 2026
or
- express your interest by 11:59 am (CET) on 25 June 2026 to be considered in the next ranking.
Failure to either enrol or express interest will be considered as a withdrawal from this enrolment phase. You can apply for inclusion in the third-phase rankings by entering your preferences on 20-23 July 2026.
PENDING - candidates cannot enrol, but they may express interest by 11:59 am (CET) on 25 June 2026 to be considered in the next ranking list.
