The programme offers an overview of the main challenges and opportunities in the startup world, providing practical tools on intellectual property, market strategies, business model validation and the management of dynamics typically associated with an innovation ecosystem, including failure management.

About Startup Bootcamp

Startup Bootcamp is the training programme offered by the Career Service of Politecnico di Milano for students and PhD candidates approaching the startup world.

The programme provides an understanding of the role of innovation and the complexity of the startup context, introduces the basics of intellectual property protection and technology transfer, presents the legal and financial tools needed to launch and grow a startup (contracts, fundraising, valuations, etc.), explores go-to-market strategies and business model validation, and helps develop an entrepreneurial mindset, with particular attention to failure management and sustainability.

What the programme offers

The programme consists of 15 hours delivered over 5 weeks and addresses a range of key topics related to the world of innovation and startups. These include the complexity of innovation and future technologies, enhancement tools and strategies, market strategies and teamwork, value creation in innovation, and the main challenges involved in developing a successful startup.
 

Who Startup Bootcamp is for

The programme is open to students and PhD candidates at Politecnico di Milano who wish to explore the startup world and gain a better understanding of its dynamics.
