MSc in Electronics Engineering

The Master of Science programme aims to form graduates with a comprehensive and solid scientific and technological background in Electronics Engineering. The professional figure created by the programme will be able to design and to use electronic devices, electronic circuits and electronic systems of any complexity as well as to promote the diffusion of electronic technologies in many different fields of application. To meet these goals, the Master of Science in Electronics Engineering builds upon the bulk of base knowledge acquired during the Bachelor of Science programme, focusing on the most advanced disciplines in electronic design to introduce the most innovative and challenging topics in the sector of Electronics, providing the students with the adequate mindset to start a successful career in relevant industrial and academic institutions.

To access the Master of Sciensce in Electronics Engineering, a Bachelor degree or a University Diploma is required. Amission is subject to meeting precise curricular requirements and an adequate preparation, as specified in the Programme Regulations.

In particular, the adequate preparation requires an average score of at least 22/30 if previously enrolled in the Bachelor course in Electronics Engineering offered by Politecnico di Milano, and of at least 23/30 in case of other Bachelor programmes offered by Politecnico di Milano and other Italian universities.

To access the Master of Science in Electronics Engineering, a degree such as a Bachelor of Science is required, with a duration of at least three years and recognized by Politecnico di Milano as equivalent to a First Level degree or a University Diploma. Amission is subject to meeting precise curricular requirements and an adequate preparation, as specified in the Programme Regulations.

Possession of such requirements is evaluated, for each case individually, by the Admission Commission of the Study Course, considering the candidate's career in its entirety, the passed exams and the attachments to the admission request.

The Master of Science in Electronics Engineering allows to acquire an extensive range of knowledge and design skills in the fields of integrated analog and digital circuits, electronic systems, power electronics, electron devices, sensors and electronic instrumentation. The student will also find courses on silimar topics with respect to those specific to the area of electronics, that can be chosen to widen and diversify the topics studied during the course. Find additional information by consulting the Programme Regulations and the Programme Courses.

Students enrolled in this Study Programme are eligible for the Interdisciplinary Programme in Smart Wearable Technologies, developed in collaboration with EssilorLuxottica and the Smart Eyewear Lab.
