Descrizione dell'iniziativa

The course aims at providing teams of students the opportunity to carry out design activities in the field of UAVs. Examples of possible activities:

• UAV design using existing tools
• Development of new tools for analysis, design, simulation, data analysis
• Development of business cases for innovative UAV-based services

Organisation:

• Call for definition of three interdisciplinary student teams which will attend the course
• Introductory lectures to provide all participating students with a common background to work on UAV design problems
• Presentation of the three input design specifications to be implemented by the teams
• Preliminary design (by the students) and design review
• Detailed design (by the students)
• Integration and flight-testing (by the students)
• Final presentation of the results
