Wuhan University (WHU) is a comprehensive and key national university, whose history traces back in 1893. It is now one of the most prominent higher education institutions in China and a world-class comprehensive research university. WHU offers programmes in Humanities, Engineering and Sciences, including Medicine and Social Sciences. The Faculty of Engineering focuses on power, mechanical, electrical, civil, water resources and hydropower Enigneering. The Faculty of Information Science provides education in computer science, cyber science, remote sensing and information engineering, geodesy and geomatics.
