Universidad EAFIT is a private university in Colombia's second largest city of Medellín. It was established in 1960. The university is split into six schools spread across three campuses. The university¿s motto is "inspira crea transforma", which translates as "inspire, create, transform". Courses are available in different faculties including engineering. The School of Engineering is one of the six academic units of the University generating new knowledge through research. It offers courses in general, civil, chemical and mechanical engineering.
