Mondragon University is a non-profit private university located in Mondragón, in the Basque Country. Officially established in 1997, it is part of Mondragon Corporation, the foremost Basque business group and one of the largest in Spain. The university provides higher education in the following knowledge areas: Engineering, Business Management, Entrepreneurship, Education Sciences, Audiovisual Communication, Gastronomic and Culinary Sciences and Cooperativism. The educational model at Mondragon university is based on values such as innovation, humanism, solidarity and cooperation, and involves a system of relationships with companies and institutions in the area, in order to guarantee social accessibility, the combination of work and study, the development of research and the provision of Continuing Education.
