Politecnico di Milano is launching the 9th edition of the MSCA PF MASTERCLASS for potential applicants to the MSCA European Postdoctoral Fellowships call 2026.
The aim of the Masterclass is to attract and train young and talented researchers to successfully apply to the European call appointing Politecnico di Milano as Host Institution.
Promising candidates will be invited to attend a full on-line course on the proposal writing (15 and 16 June 2026) and to make use of full support in the application writing process by POLIMI advisors. Candidate fellows and supervisors will be guided throughout the whole application process with deadline on 09 September 2026. Only those who get funding through the European Commission’s MSCA PF program will be admitted to Politecnico di Milano. Applications are open for the published Supervisors’ project proposals.

As additional opportunity, funding will be awarded, in the form of a two-year postdoctoral contract with a gross amount of Euro 54,000 (gross employer cost), plus a research startup fund of Euro 17,000, to the 5 top-ranked candidates who applied to the MSCA European Postdoctoral Fellowship 2026 call, indicating Politecnico di Milano as their Host Institution, and who, following the evaluation of their proposal by the European Commission, obtained the Seal of Excellence with a score of 85% or higher.
In addition, a family allowance (Euro 4,800 gross employer cost) may be granted to any candidate who, at the start date of the contract or during its duration, has or acquires family obligations.
