Descrizione dell'iniziativa
The AUIC School offers to students a PASSION IN ACTION activity, which involves designing a temporary pavilion focusing on LIVING IN THE DIGITAL AGE. Interested students must form a group of 2 or 3 person and contact an AUIC School professor as supervisor of the project. After the completion of the design work, students will be awarded 2 extracurricular credits.
A maximum of 10 student groups will be selected from all the submitted projects. The selected students will be required to develop the project in depth, bringing it to an executive scale in order to self-construct the pavilion during FUORISALONE 2026. The 10 projects will be self-built by the students using wooden profiles and panels provided by the School. The work completed in this implementation phase will be recognized as a curricular INTERNSHIP (number of credits required by the respective program).

LIVING IN THE DIGITAL AGE
Digital technology has now transformed many of our habits and actions, from the less usual to the most habitual. Abstraction and concreteness now seem to coexist more than ever within the same existential perimeter, coinciding as simultaneous layers existing on the same perspective. Consequently, space, which until recently enveloped us only physically, now belongs to us in an intangible or even incorporeal way. Everyone can inhabit and move within a distinct vital sphere, acting online or offline according to our own map that marks our personal pilgrimage through the world. It is clear that all this has consequences on the size and shape of space, which can no longer be the same as before, at least in many of its aspects. It is a non-linear and complex process that, without interruption, can increasingly involve every type of society and place, public and private spaces, including domestic environments, even the most intimate ones, which we will persist in protecting from this sort of epochal tsunami.

Note
As previously specified, 10 student groups will be selected from the participants in the PASSION IN ACTION activity. The selected groups, supervised by the School professor already indicated in the PASSION IN ACTION phase, will be required to develop the project in depth, bringing it to an executive scale. The pavilion will be built in self-construction by the students, within the Leonardo Campus in a location to be agreed with the School, using profiles and wooden panels provided by the School. The work completed by the students will be a curricular INTERNSHIP. CREDITS will be assigned in the number established by the student's Degree Program Course.
