Descrizione dell'iniziativa
The European CirCLER project offers students the opportunity to explore topics related to the circular economy as applied to the furniture and design sector through a flexible, online extracurricular training program.
The course is designed to provide the basic skills required for the professional role of Circular Economy Transition Manager (CETM), an emerging profile that supports designers, companies, and organizations in the design and implementation of strategies for transitioning to more sustainable and circular production and business models. The CETM acts as a liaison between strategic, design, environmental, and organizational aspects, with a particular focus on the management of materials, processes, and environmental impact throughout the supply chain.
The course is structured in thematic modules, each consisting of training pills that can be accessed independently on the CirCLER digital platform. The content covers various topics, including: principles of the circular economy, circular design, circular business models, and resource management. At the end of each capsule, the platform issues a certificate.
During the course registration phase, students will be asked to indicate their level of participation in the training programme. Students taking part in the Passion in Action initiative will be required to select and attend the Advanced CETM level.
To obtain Passion in Action recognition, students must complete three course modules: Module 1 (Introduction to the circular economy), Module 5 (Circular design), and Module 10 (Closing module). Upon completion of these modules, students will receive a total of 8 certificates, which must be sent by email as proof of fulfillment of the requirements, along with a mandatory feedback questionnaire, via Google Form, aimed at evaluating the training experience and improving the course content.
Once the compulsory modules have been completed, students are free to continue their training by attending additional modules of the CirCLER course, until they have completed the entire program, according to their interests and availability.
