Girls@Polimi 2025: 30 female engineering students honoured
The award ceremony for the winning students of the Girls@Polimi 2025 scholarships was held in the Aula Magna Pesenti at the Leonardo Campus. Together with the girls, Rector Donatella Sciuto, the Rector's Delegate for Diversity and Inclusion, Mara Tanelli, and representatives of donor organizations participated in the event.
Girls@Polimi is an initiative of the Politecnico di Milano designed to introduce girls to STEM disciplines and encourage them to enroll in engineering degree programs with low female enrollment. The selected students will receive a scholarship totaling €24,000 and will have access to support, training, and mentoring programs.
The scholarships for this edition were made possible thanks to the support of companies, foundations, and a private donor: Alpiq, Ardian Foundation, Fondazione Beta 80, Boston Scientific, Cefriel, Elena Cerbaro, Fastweb + Vodafone, Fondazione r.e.ACT ETS, POLIMI Graduate School of Management, Hitachi Energy, Intesa Sanpaolo, Leonardo, MBDA Italia, Mediobanca, Gruppo Nestlé in Italia, NHOA Energy, Reply, S.C.
