Description
The course has a duration of three days during which it will alternate between classroom lectures and
practical exercises/demonstrations in a working cleanroom. On the
concluding day there will be a written test to verify theoretical learning
and three practical tests in the cleanroom with attached reporting of each test by
learners. Successful completion of the examination (theoretical test and practical tests) enables one to
be included in the appropriate national (ASCCA) and international (ICCCS) lists of
accredited personnel (validity 5 years).
Educational project
The course has the aims to deepen the understanding of the standards
ISO 14644-1/2/3/5, to provide the appropriate knowledge to perform measurements in
controlled contamination environments, to show the proper operation of the
instruments used for said measurements (e.g. OPCs, photometers, aerosol generators,
sensors for measuring velocity, temperature and flow). The main objective is to
show routine tests carried out in contamination-controlled environments by attesting,
through practical tests, the capabilities of the participants. In particular, the following are addressed
tests related to filter tightness, air velocity, pressure measurement,
flow rates and the classification of a controlled contamination environment.
Requirements
The course is aimed at operators who already have a good knowledge of the
technologies of contamination-controlled environments, and to those who work
routinely in the field of verification.
