Educational project

The RIDEF Specializing Master is an advanced professional training course set within a dynamic context of international governance: COP29 is just around the corner, the Next Generation EU has leaded to the National Plan for Recovery and Resilience in Italy and to the recent National Energy and Climate Plan (PNIEC). These measures are based on environmental sustainability and they are also in line with the Green New Deal. The Green New Deal aims to achieve net-zero CO2 emissions by 2050 and to decouple economic growth from resource use. The feasibility of decoupling economic growth from resource consumption has been widely debated. Within the Specializing Master program, we will critically analyze these debates, among other topics. Another significant European initiative is the Renovation Wave, which seeks to modernize the entire European building stock. In the coming years, there will be substantial funding in the energy and environmental sectors. As a result, there is a growing demand for a new generation of professionals who can effectively leverage these measures, with a strong focus on environmental and social sustainability.
