Description

Logistics has been establishing itself in recent years at a company level due to its ability to integrate and process vision, capable of increasing customer service while maintaining efficiency in the use of resources. This success has been accompanied by an expansion of the activities entrusted to logistics managers, with an evolution of the required skills. The current context only emphasizes the role and importance of logistics managers, able to govern all the levers of the Supply Chain. The specific objective of the course is therefore to support the professional growth of those who work in the world of logistics, to train "all-round" logistics managers, who know how to combine mastery of specialized issues with managerial skills to guide change in realities. The teaching is designed and implemented in collaboration with Assologistica, the trade organization that brings together companies in the logistics sector.

Educational project

The course aims to: - provide greater awareness and knowledge of some general management tools that are increasingly relevant in the distribution sector; - develop specific skills on the new information and communication technologies (ICT) currently available to support the management of the Supply Chain; - provide a broader and more strategic vision of the role of the Supply Chain and Logistics functions in the company and therefore of the links they have with the company strategy and with the other parts of the organisation; - complete and deepen some specific skills concerning particularly relevant and frontier issues on Logistics management.
