Description
The course is held through lectures, seminars, illustration of case studies, company
visits and targeted design exercises. It is divided into the following training modules: 1.
Contract design as a growth strategy for companies. 2. Techniques of graphic
representation of projects. 3. Technologies and production processes for contract. 4.
Product in the range and custom-made solutions, analysis of financial profitability. 5.
Product design. 6. assessments of the qualitative parameters in contract applications. 7.
Product and system certifications. 8. Design studios. 9. Professionalizing project or 375-
hours internship in companies and professional studios.
Educational project
Contract design represents a specific sector of professional applications, bound to the
intelligent organization of internal spaces with specific use destinations, centered on the
individual and collective wellbeing of users. Contract projects are mainly widespread in
the Office/Workplaces, Retail, Real Estate, Hospitality, Cultural Spaces, Marine sectors,
and are expanding to new types and uses of internal spaces. The main objective of the
Master is to train professional figures capable of developing and managing contract
projects, transferring advanced knowledge about the design and productive process,
and interpersonal communication skills to deal with designers, customers and
companies. The training course will be organized in modules that will introduce the
following topics: analysis and synthesis of the ideation processes; organization and
realization of the contract project; level of correspondence between customer requests
and detailed project; congruence with international directives and certifications.
Requirements
Applicants must hold a Bachelor or Master Degree in Architecture, Industrial Design,
Product design, Interior design and Building Engineering.For applicants holding a foreign
degree, the equivalent qualifications in the respective university systems will be
considered.
