The University of Lleida (Udl) is a university based in the city of Lleida, in the region of Catalonia. It was the first university in Catalonia and the whole Crown of Aragon, its origins dating back to 1300, when the "Estudi General de Lleida" was established. Re-founded in 1991, the UdL combines today a long and fruitful university tradition with a young and dynamic structure that is firmly committed to quality training and research, through advanced teaching methods and internationalization. The UdL has a wide offer of degrees at first, second and doctoral level, spread over five campuses and comprising a wide variety of disciplines, from the Arts and Humanities, Law, Economics and Tourism, to Science and Technology (Engineering and Mathematics), Medicine and Health Sciences, Agrifood and Forestry Science and Engineering.
