The Akademie Der Bilden Kunste Stuggart (ABK Stuttgart) is the largest state-run art and design academy in Stuttgart with one of the richest traditions in Germany. With 20 academic programs divided into Architecture, Design, Fine Arts, Art Education and Conservation Studies, it offers an exciting range of artistic, educational and research opportunities. One of its characteristics is the interdisciplinary nature that is reflected in courses and seminars, as well as in joint projects in which professors and students work together in small groups. This didactic approach allows creative and artistic development, the acquisition of technical skills as well as theoretical and professional knowledge. Another peculiar aspect of the academy is the presence of numerous laboratories in which students are able to experiment and carry out projects using analogue and digital technology under the supervision of experts. The Academy is actively involved in conferences, symposia, editorial publications and exhibitions. It has a wide network of national and international partners thanks to which it supports and promotes continuous intercultural experiences, fundamental in the future professional career. The ABK Stuttgart, which is located just minutes from Stuttgart's central station, is equipped with excellent infrastructure, including a library that has a wide selection of national and international publications in the fields of architecture, fine arts, design, photography, history. art and restoration theory. Furthermore, there are numerous exhibition spaces, a cinema and a cafeteria.
