Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú (PUCP), founded in 1917, is the main private university in the country , located in Lima, Peru. It is a national and international academic benchmark for its comprehensive, multi and interdisciplinary training and it is recognized nationally and internationally for the quality of its research. PUCP offers a civic, humanistic, scientific and comprehensive training of excellence. The Faculty of Sciences and Engineering offers courses in Biomedical ,Civil, Electronic, Geological, Industrial, Informatics, Mechanical , Mechatronics, Mining and Telecommunications Engineering. The Faculty of Art and Design offers undergraduate courses in Graphic design Industrial design, fashion and textile design. It also has the faculty of Architecture and Urbanism.
