The University Mohamed VI Polytechnic is ranked first in Morocco in the national ranking for engineering disciplines and second for architecture-humanities. It is a young but very dynamic university, financed and supported directly by the sovereign whose name it bears, which has several important branches and partnerships (e.g. with EPFL, MIT, etc.). The new Campus in Benguerir near Marrakech, designed by Ricardo Bofill, is equipped with large teaching spaces, multidisciplinary laboratories, student residences and excellent infrastructure, in addition to a large "energy park" and a management school.
