Founded in 1890, the Pontifical University Comillas has over 11,000 students, 2000 of them come from foreign countries. Its campuses host the Escuela Técnica Superior de Ingeniería (Engineering School), 6 Institutes, the Centre for higher education Alberta Giménez, the School of Nursing and Physiotherapy 'San Juan de Dios'.
