EUROPEAN SCHOOL OF ART IN BRITTANY (EESAB)

The Europeto different modalities an School of Art in Brittany (EESAB) is an art school founded in 2010 by the union of four art institutes from the cities of Brest, Lorient, Quimper and Rennes. The acquired skills allow the opening to a wide range of artistic professions and the student builds his own career and professional profile, through periods of learning and experimentation in multiple forms. The training program is structured according and temporalities: fundamental lessons (theoretical courses, laboratory practices, methodology), collective systems of transversality of practices for the acquisition of knowledge and critical analysis and for plastic experimentation (seminars, meetings with artists, workshops, study trips, exhibitions), introductory sequences for professional integration (internships, competitions, external projects). EESAB carries out several research programs in collaboration with local, national and international structures. These activities take many forms and both make students aware and involved in the ongoing artistic research.
