ESAD HIGH SCHOOL OF ARTS AND DESIGN

Founded in 1989, the Escola superior de arte e design (ESAD) is a private institute with high quality standards in art and design education, research and related activities. It offers undergraduate and advanced design courses in Communication Design, Interior Design, Product Design, Fashion Design, Jewelry, Digital Arts and Multimedia and a dynamic program of events and activities. Over time, ESAD has developed a particularly strong reputation as a leader in organizing national and international design events that invite world-class designers to participate in open seminars, conferences and conferences. ESAD trains its students so that they can understand the role of design and the arts and be able to intervene in national and international contexts. In Matosinhos, the everyday life of the school is intense, diversified and productive. Here, successful designers give lectures, talks and important contributions every month. Classrooms, workshops and study spaces are open to cross-sectional or specific activities and to interdisciplinary or specialized activities and this allows the students to experiment, test and produce assisted by competent personnel.
