The National School of Landscape and Architecture of Lille (ENSAPL) is the only one in the north of France to offer teaching and research activity in architecture and landscape. ENSAPL works to articulate and develop the relations between these two disciplines. It seeks to promote the spirit of invention and creativity of students while being part of the economic and social character of the territory. Half the teaching is project-based, involving hands-on experience which is a constant throughout the study cycles. The school holds that it is essential for architects and landscape architects to have a thorough grounding in research in order to secure the future of these constantly changing professions.
