EBABX - BORDEAUX'S SCHOOL OF ARTS

The Bordeaux'S School of Arts (EBABX) belongs to the public establishments of artistic higher education which are under the protection of the Ministry of Culture. It contributes to developing art and design within the French city and the New Aquitaine territory with the aim to enrich them nationally and internationally. The EBABX building is located in the heart of the Sainte-Croix district, a reference point for the city in terms of higher artistic education (visual arts, music, dance, theatre). The school has recently adopted a new didactic approach which integrates research, professionalism and internationalization into teaching. The latter is designed to foster multidisciplinarity and, thanks to the presence of expert professionals, artists, designers, theorists and technicians, guarantees an anchorage to the current artistic scenario. The outputs produced within the university include videos, photographs, audios, 3D animation, metal, wood, ceramic and plastic workings. These products are made thanks to the collaborations with companies and ateliers that make their spaces and machines available. Inside the campus there are a library, the Café Pompier which, in addition to offering the catering service, organizes events throughout the academic year, a gallery and a hangar where students can exhibit their projects.
