The Brittany National Higher School of Architecture (ENSAB) is a public higher education institution based in Rennes, France. It is one of the public schools offering higher education in architecture in France. The courses taught at ENSAB offer a complete initial training leading to the achievement of the Diploma of Studies in Architecture (bachelor diploma). The lessons allow the student to acquire the basics of an architectural culture and to master the design process of the architectural project according to different scales and different contexts. These lessons provide theoretical knowledge and allow for the experimentation of fundamental concepts, methods and knowledge and develop understanding and practices of architectural design. During this first cycle of studies, two regulatory internships are guaranteed. The School also delivers master degrees that allow the student to develop critical thinking related to specific architectural issues. The School hosts many student associations that create a constant, dynamic and lively activity within it.
