Description of the initiative

The laboratory "Public Administration and Innovation: a possible combination?" aims to present and reflect together with students on the issues of digital innovation and on the pivotal role that public administrations can play in the digital transformation of our country.

The course will be structured in three parts:
  • a lecture in which students will be provided with the basic tools to understand some key aspects of digitization in the public domain;
  • an interactive workshop in which the key players in the digital transformation process of public bodies will be involved: PA, businesses and startups;
  • elaboration of a digital transformation project, which meets the objectives of the 2020-2022 Three-Year; the project will then be presented at the end of the course: students will work in groups, expanding their interpersonal, communication and problem solving skills.
The training credits will be achieved thanks to the active participation in the meetings and the development of the project. The most deserving students will win a free subscription for 3 months to the www.osservatori.net portal and will be allowed to participate in conferences and workshops organized by the Digital Agenda Observatory on the subject.
