Scientific awareness

Engineering Festival

The first engineering festival organised by Politecnico di Milano in which professors and researchers take turns talking about their lives in the university laboratories and the many goals achieved. Three days of informative events, workshops, events for children, film forums, shows, evening performances and much more, offering the chance to have a full-immersion but at the same time fun, educational and above all stimulating experience of the engineering world for young and old.

Made in Polimi

Made in Polimi is an ever-evolving exhibition space, located at the entrance to the Rector’s office, which tells the story of the Politecnico’s past, present and future through the many adventures led by the university’s engineers, architects and designers over the years. Here you will find stories of inventions and patents, objects and products, buildings and infrastructures; but above all, stories of women and men, of discoveries stemming from long and patient research.

Mantovarchitettura

Manovarchitettura is an event organised each year (in May) at Politecnico di Milano’s Polo Territoriale di Mantova, as part of the UNESCO Chair in "Architectural Preservation and Planning in World Heritage Cities" featuring a series of exhibitions, lessons, seminars and conferences in the monumental buildings of Mantua.

Poli-tech stories

Aiming to reinforce synergies with international institutions, and strengthen the university’s presence on a global scale, the Politecnico has developed a programme of initiatives in partnership with Italian Cultural Institutes Worldwide. The meetings are held by university professors who recount stories about the culture of the Politecnico: science, technology and creativity, about goals achieved by its great masters, about visions of the future.
