Description of the initiative
The course titled "Rural hydro-energy challenges in Latinamerica" involving lecturer and students from Universidad de Los Andes (Colombia), Universidad Javeriana (Colombia), Universidad de Chile (Chile) and Politecnico di Milano (Italy).The course is part of the initiatives of the network Magalhaes (Home | Magalhaes Network (magalhaes-network.org)The course starts in August 30th and end in November 24th with 2 sessions per week of approx. 1 hour.
Themes and topics
The Coil Course will focus on the proposal of a solution for a local challenge to be developed in groups during the semester. The challenges will be proposed by the faculty in charge of the course, and each student can select the challenge of her/his interest. The groups will be organized based on the selected challenge, country, field of education, and university.The Coil course will be taught in thematic challenges focused on sustainability, green technology or sustainable development, with the specific themes presented during the second lesson of the course.
