Kick-off meeting of MICS - Made in Italy Circolare e Sostenibile

The extended partnership that will research greener design and production technologies and processes

On February 2nd the kick-off meeting of MICS - Made in Italy Circolare e Sostenibile (Circular and Sustainable Made in Italy) took place at MADE Competence Center Industry 4.0, at the Bovisa Campus. MICS is an extended partnership that aims to enable a fully closed-loop, self-sufficient, self-regenerative, reliable, safe, and energy-aware design and manufacturing of Made in Italy products and services. MICS is composed by 12 public partners and 13 industrial partners, with the Politecnico di Milano as proposer: the kick-off was the occasion to meet in person and set down the scena for future innovative projects that will cover eight different Spokes, transversal thematic research areas. In particular, MICS will be focused on three key Italian industries: Fashion, Furniture and Automation.

MICS is funded by MUR (Ministry of University and Research) thanks to the funds provided by the European Union under the NextGenerationEU program and it represents one of the projects concerning the PNRR Mission 4 “Education and Research”.
