Academic Transcripts/academic certificate of exams taken

The Politecnico di Milano accepts certificates in Italian, English, French and Spanish; certificates issued in other languages must be accompanied by a translation into one of the following languages: Italian (preferred), English, French or Spanish.
This document must be verifiable by:
- Legalisations issued by the appropriate Italian diplomatic mission
- Electronic or paper Apostille, obtained from the relevant authority in the reference country
- Online database provided by the institution that issued the certificate. The link to the database and how to consult it must be provided by the institute itself

Legalisation and Apostille are not compulsory in the case of documents issued in the following countries: Austria, Belgium, Denmark (except Greenland and the Faroe Islands), France, Ireland, Estonia, Latvia (for documents issued since 2010), Cyprus, Germany, Hungary, Poland. However, original documents will have to be submitted to the relevant Welcome Desk, unless they can be verified through an online database provided by the institution that issued the documents.

Detailed official syllabuses of passed exams

The Politecnico di Milano accepts official syllabuses in Italian, English, French and Spanish; official syllabuses issued in different languages must be accompanied by a translation in one of the following languages: Italian (preferred), English, French or Spanish.

The Statement of Comparability and Statement of Verification issued by CIMEA (Centro di Informazione sulla Mobilità Accademica e l'Equivalenza) can be obtained (for a fee) within a few weeks and in digital format by creating a personal account on Mydiplome.
