"At the end of October, Professor Francesco Correggiari, untenured Professor of Electric Machine Construction, retired due to age limits. Professor Correggiari made a significant contribution to the study of Electrical Machine Construction, a discipline he taught for several decades, first in Genoa and then, from 1 November 1938, at the Politecnico di Milano. He actively contributed to the development of the Politecnico and always dedicated himself with passion to school issues. In consideration of the above, the group of electrical engineers proposes that the Faculty Board ask that the Ministry of Public Education award Professor Correggiari the title of Emeritus Professor."
