The Politecnico and affiliated day nurseries

The Politecnico di Milano makes the nurseries in Via Valvassori Peroni and Via Candiani available to all Community staff, as well as additional places in the affiliated nurseries located near the Milan Campuses and on-site at the Lecco Pole.
They are daytime services with a capacity of 25 and 10 children respectively and are open to children turning 3 months old by 31 December of each year, up until they meet the age requirement to be admitted into pre-school.
Further affiliations are available with other private providers to guarantee financial support to the entire Politecnico community.

Summer and Easter holiday camps

The Politecnico Camps are open to sons/daughters aged 4 to 13 years old of the entire Politecnico Community and, if places are available, also to external users. Recreational and sports activity programmes are available as of 2021 at the Giuriati Sports Centre whilst schools are closed for summer and Easter holidays.

The holiday camps take place at the Leonardo and Bovisa Campuses.

Every year the Politecnico di Milano organizes a Summer School on STEM subjects and intended for high school students from second year upwards. TechCamp@POLIMI offers students two weeks of courses taught in English on particularly topical areas of technology: from mobility to robotics, programming, cybersecurity and green energy, with in-depth theory and practical exercises. The Politecnico offers grants for taking part in a TechCamp@POLIMI course, awarded by merit to the children of Technical Administrative Staff and permanent Teaching Staff.
