Amelia Earhart Fellowship to Gaia Letizia Civardi

Recognition awarded to the PhD student at the Department of Aerospace Science and Technology

Gaia Letizia Civardi, PhD student at the Department of Aerospace Science and Technology of the Politecnico di Milano, was awarded an Amelia Earhart Fellowship, made available by the Zonta International Foundation to support women in their doctoral research in aerospace engineering.

Gaia Letizia Civardi’s research interests include autonomous relative navigation for proximity operations with uncooperative targets, exploiting images acquired in the visible and thermal infrared spectra.
