Data Driven Genomic Computing (GeCo)

Polimi role:
Coordinator

Stefano Ceri
The GeCo project (Data-Driven Genomic Computing) aims to revisit genomic computing through the lens of basic data management, by using new models, languages and tools for their analysis and management, whose concepts are reliable and which are able to operate super-efficiently on "cloud" systems. Through the extensive use of public databases, it will be possible to answer fundamental biological issues, such as the development of tumours or their correlation with the environment.
