Henry Darcy Medal: Professor Alberto Guadagnini awarded

The award given during the 2024 EGU General Assembly

Alberto Guadagnini, professor of hydraulics at the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering of the Politecnico di Milano, was honored with Henry Darcy Medal by the European Geosciences Union (EGU) for his research works aimed at expanding the frontiers of our knowledge on flow and contaminant transport in groundwater systems and porous media.

The medal was established by the Hydrological Sciences Division of the EGU to honor Henry Darcy's scientific accomplishments. It is given to individuals for their outstanding scientific contributions to water resources research, engineering, and management.

The professor was awarded on April 16 during the 2024 EGU General Assembly.
