The workshop offers an approach to the professional practice of architectural photography in interiors, exteriors and urban landscapes.After a historical and critical introduction regarding the developments of the subject covered, we will proceed to describe current tools and techniques for the representation of space through the use of a camera and specific lenses to portray the architectural work.The meetings will be divided into theoretical lessons on the photographer's working tools, the planning of a shooting and practical experiences to learn the techniques of composing the image on site.Some essential references to contemporary authors and the history of architectural photography will also be presented.Participants will be led on a path that will offer them knowledge of the tools necessary to address a theme of photographic representation of space in commercial and authorial terms. Photography for private clients and the construction of a personal photographic project.The topics covered will be integrated by the illustration of basic post-production techniques with software in the Adobe environment and hints at the selection of suitable paper support for printing the photographic image.
